Students will read a variety of poems and fairytales. They will be trying to answer the question “How and why do writers make up stories?” Grammar focus will be verb usage and paragraph structure Students will comment on what makes an effective story, looking at style, language, and intention. graph structure. This will enhance the student’s ability to express their personal opinion regarding literature.
Summative task
Students will write a short story and an anthology of poems that are based on the fairytales under analysis
