Area of Interaction/área de interacción
Homo Faber. ATL
Aims/objetivos
Students will learn and show that they understand that substances interact during a chemical reaction and form new substances (products). energy may also be released during this process. the reaction of a substance with oxygen is called oxidation burning and rusting are examples of oxidation during a chemical reaction, the atoms are just rearranged no atoms are destroyed and none are made. acids can be neutralised by alkalis. word equations can be written to describe reactions. a fuel, air and heat are necessary for a fire to burn the fire triangle can be used to explain how to put out a fire there are different ways of preserving foods and artefacts
Content/contenido
To record and understand the behaviour of different substances on their own , when mixed and made to react.
