Content/contenido

Plane and solid shapes. The students will:

•  Recognize and name different types of triangles
•  Know and apply angle properties in a triangle
•  Recognize and name different types of quadrilaterals
•  Know and apply angle properties in quadrilaterals
•  Recognize and name polygons of different sides
•  Recognize and name polyhedra

Maps and Coordinates. The student will:

•  Change scales to ratios
•  Find the distance represented in a map given the scale
•  Can locate place given compass beaarings
•  Recognize and draw diagrams using True Bearing
•  Can locate coordinates in the cartesian plane

Handling Data. The student will: 

• Recognize the different types of data
•  Complete a Distribution Table
•  Interpret and draw: bar charts, pie charts, line graphs given a table with data
•  Calculate median, mean and mode
