Content/contenido

Brackets and Equations. The student will:

•  Remove brackets in simple and complex expressions
•  Remove brackets and simplify
•  Can expand brackets with a negative multiplier
•  Multiply out pairs of brackets
•  Solve equations with brackets

Factors. The student will:

•  Factorize using highest common factors
•  Factorize a Difference of squares
•  Factorize trinomials and quadratics
  

Handling Data. The student will:

•  Interpret graphs (line graphs, bar and pie charts)
•  Calculate averages – mean, median, mode and range
•  Make frequency tables and calculate averages
•  Draw scatter diagrams
•  Interpret and compare statistic results
•  Cumulative frequency distributions
•  Understands and calculates the inter-quartile range
