Content/contenido

Students will be able:

•  to distinguish between the properties of different states,to understand the molecular structure of solids, liquids and gases
•  to explain the temperature and pressure of a gas by the movement of its molecules,
•  to describe qualitatively the effect of a change of temperature on the pressure of a gas at constant volume,
•  to understand and describe Brownian motion,
•  to describe evaporation and consequent cooling and uses thereof,
•  to relate change in volume of a gas to change in pressure applied to the gas at constant temperature
