The student will be able to.

  •  Explain why hydrogen is being considered as a fuel of the future.
  •  Explain how energy can be obtained from radioactive isotopes eg. Uranium 235 for peaceful and non peaceful uses.
  •  Describe Production of electricity from simple cells and batteries.
  •  State that the energy change in a battery is from potential chemical energy to electrical energy
